The
head of our Sahiwal Cow is nearly little, the legs are short and
heavy, the hooves are dark, and the rump is uniform and higher than
the forequarters. The tail is long, thin and adaptable with highly
contrasting or unadulterated white markings coming to up to fetlock.
The body of this Sahiwal Cow is normally light or copper shaded which
is peculiar` to this breed. The ears are inadequate. The normal milk
generation is 800kg to one tonne. The cows are rumored as great draft
creatures with warmth resilience. The rearing tract of this breed is
in Baroda and Kaira regions of Gujarat.
